Georgetown is Seattle's oldest continually-settled neighborhood.

Settled by Luther Collins in 1851 and incorporated as the City of Georgetown, Washington from 1904 - 1910, Georgetown is now home to a diverse mix of artists, bohemians, families, businesses, and industry.



Georgetown Spring Clean
Mark your calendars for May 31. Georgetown friends and neighbors will be removing trash, cleaning and planting traffic circles and painting out graffiti. More details to come.

Georgetown Art and Garden Walk
13th annual Georgetown Art & Garden Walk will be held Sunday, July 13th, 2008 from 10a.m.-5p.m. So much to see! Colorful gardens, artist studios, food and drink, plus tours of the Georgetown Powerplant Museum and the Museum of Communication. Free and no registration required. Georgetown Community Council
We meet at 7:00pm on the third Monday of each month at the Coliman Restaurant, 6932 Carleton Ave. S (corner of Carleton and E Marginal Way S.) We do not meet in December.

Georgetown Art Attack
Georgetown monthly art walk, held on the second Saturday of each month from 6-9pm, reflects the industrial-strength character of the neighborhood. For more information stop into Georgetown Records at the corner of Vale and Airport way.

Riverview Restoration Project
