Mission
The GCC is an independent, non-profit organization comprised of residents, property owners, and businesses of Georgetown whose purposes shall be:
- To work together through cooperative and democratic processes in order to foster a greater sense of community among all who work live and play in Georgetown.
- To enhance the quality of life for our community.
- To initiate and sustain action which promotes the social, educational, recreational, economic and physical betterment of the community;
- To provide and encourage leadership in fulfilling our objectives;
- To provide a public forum for the discussion of events, problems, concerns, and needs of Georgetown.
- To do whatever is necessary and proper to further the objectives stated above but not in any manner inconsistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended.

GCC Meetings
Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7pm in the Coliman restaurant, 6932 Carleton Ave. S. All residents or friends of the Georgetown neighborhood are encouraged to attend.
